Privacy Policy

1 - Definitions

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the following definitions apply:

Cookies: Files sent by the Portal server to the Visitors' computer, with the purpose of identifying the computer and obtaining access data, such as pages browsed or links clicked, thus allowing to customize the Visitors' navigation on the Portal, according to their profile.

H3 Componentes: Name used in this document to identify the controller and owner of this Portal, H3 COMPONENTES AUTOMOTIVOS LTDA, registered under No. 22.861.570/0001-09, headquartered in the city of Rua Virgilino Hoffmann - 95190-000, Nº 374 - São Marcos/RS.

IP: Abbreviation for Internet Protocol. It is a set of numbers that identifies the computer of Visitors on the Internet.

Logs: Records of Visitors' activities carried out on the Portal.

Portal: Designates the electronic address h3componentes.com.br and its subdomains.

Visitor: Anyone who browses the Portal.

User: Visitors who are authenticated in the Portal system.

Web beacons: Lines of programming in HTML pages that aim to obtain details of the user's navigation, such as how long the website was open, which address was visited next, among others.

2 - Obtaining data and information

2.1 - The data and information will be obtained when the Visitors interact with the various functionalities existing in the Portal, providing the information voluntarily, as in the "Call Center" section, for example.

3 - Storage of Data and Information

3.1 - All data and information collected from Visitors will be incorporated into the Portal's database, and H3 Componentes will be responsible for it.

3.2 - The data and information collected will be stored in a secure environment, observing the state of the art available, and can only be accessed by qualified and authorized people

3.3 - Considering that no security system is absolutely safe, H3 Componentes is exempt from any responsibility for any damages and/or losses resulting from failures, viruses or invasions of the Portal's database, except in cases of intent or fault for it.

3.4 - H3 Componentes collects only the information indispensable to the viability of its business, that is, the food industry.

4 - Use of Data and Information

4.1 - The data and information collected from Visitors may be used for the following purposes:

a) To respond to any doubts and requests from Visitors;

b) Compliance with a legal or judicial order;

c) Establishing, defending or regularly exercising rights in the judicial or administrative sphere;

d) Prepare general statistics, to identify the profile of Visitors and develop H3 Componentes campaigns, but without personal identification;

e) To ensure the safety of Visitors;

f) To keep the Visitors' records updated for the purpose of contact by telephone, e-mail, SMS, direct mail or other means of communication;

g) To inform about news, promotions and events of H3 Componentes and its commercial partners.

4.2 - The database collected by the H3 Components Portal will not be shared, sold, assigned, transferred, informed or rented to third parties.

4.3 - The acquired data may only be accessed by professionals duly authorized by H3 Componentes, respecting the need to which they will be submitted, the relevance to the objectives of the Portal and the interests of the users, in addition to preserving the privacy of the users.

4.4 - If the User ceases to use the services offered by the Portal, H3 Componentes may, for the purposes of auditing and preservation of rights, remain with the record of its data and information, for a maximum period of 5 (five) years, with the option of definitively deleting them at its convenience.

5 - Cookies

5.1 - The Portal may make use of cookies, and it is up to the Visitors to configure their Internet browser, if they wish to block them. In this case, some functionalities of the Portal may be limited.

5.2. In addition, the Portal may use web beacons to collect data on the behavior of page visitors, where the installation of files on visitors' equipment is not necessary.

5.3. Other technologies may be used to obtain browsing data by the user, however, they will always respect the terms of this policy and the user's options regarding its collection and storage.

6 - General Provisions

6.1 - The provisions contained in this Privacy Policy may be updated or modified at any time, and it is up to the Visitors to check it whenever they access the Portal.

6.2 - Visitors should contact in case of any doubt regarding the provisions contained in this Privacy Policy through the "Call Center" Section.

6.3 - The user, when placing information in a public area of the H3 Components Portal, is aware that it will be available to other Visitors and Users of the website.

6.4 - H3 Componentes cannot control what Visitors and Users do with the information published on the website. Remember that any information disclosed in these areas may become public information and that it is therefore important to exercise caution and common sense when publishing any content.

7 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 - This Privacy Policy will be interpreted in accordance with Brazilian law, in Portuguese, and the Court of the District of Caxias do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Sul will be elected to settle any dispute, question or doubt that may arise, with express waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.
